VIDEO: The street magazine to help vulnerable groups of citizens "Face to Face" started to be sold online

The only street magazine that has been around for nine years and aims to help vulnerable categories of citizens, by sharing the profits from each magazine purchased, has switched to online sales. The editor of the magazine, Maja Ravanska, spoke today at the morning briefing about the challenges they face during a pandemic and finding ways to avoid the virus without stopping working.

- "Face to face" is a social enterprise for work integration. Apart from being a medium, it is also a business that employs vulnerable citizens. Although the entire model of the magazine is based on the direct support of street vendors who receive half of the sale price of the magazine, due to the pandemic situation we had to reorient to online sales. So that we inadvertently made an innovation, which we expect to even improve our sales. First we started with a web store, and then it developed into a web platform on which the contents of the magazine are available, and the magazine can now be bought online except on the street, informs Ravanska.

There are chronically ill or at-risk people among the sellers themselves who are in great danger of moving between large groups of people. Thus came the decision for online sales, which was not at all easy for some sellers, but the decision was final. Each seller has its own code, and the codes are available on the web platform or on kupi.licevlice.mk.

- The magazine has been around for nine years, but it is not easy at all. Still, we strive to involve the community in the right way. Online sales are still not so current, so I urge citizens to buy this magazine, to help vulnerable categories of citizens, but also to help themselves by reading quality content, emphasizes the editor of the magazine Maja Ravanska.
