VIDEO | The Ukrainians claim to have captured one of the key cities in Kursk
Ukrainian state television released a video showing Ukrainian soldiers removing the Russian flag from an official building in Suja, a city in Russia's Kursk region.
The video, which state television said was recorded on Wednesday, August 14, shows three Ukrainian soldiers raising and removing the Russian flag while shouting "Glory to Ukraine."
The correspondent of the state television reported that the Ukrainian forces have full control over Suja, a key hub for the delivery of gas across Europe, reports Reuters.
Moscow has said that Russian forces are continuing to fight Ukrainian forces in an attempt to take over the control of the border strategic center of Suja, which is considered a vital gas center in this part of Russia.
