VIDEO: In Serbia, students beat up a teacher, they recorded the harassment with a mobile phone

A student approaches a young high school teacher from behind, pulls out the chair she is sitting on, after which she ends up on the floor, while another records it all, and the students laugh - a video with this content, recorded these days, was published in surprised the media and the public in Serbia.

The case was reported to the police, and the school administration initiated disciplinary proceedings against the students.

"It happened in class, where we don't have security cameras. We have taken all legal measures. We notified the parents and all concerned institutions, the school administration in writing, and initiated an educational and disciplinary procedure. When all the facts are established, the students will be punished with a certain disciplinary measure", said the director of the Technical School in Trstenik Milan Glidzic.

The students who participated in the incident were not known for major offenses at the school. It happened, says the director, that they run away from class before a written assignment or questioning, which is why they get unexcused absences.

"This is the first time something like this has happened, I've been at this school for 30 years," says the principal.

The students, who were obviously not the smartest, posted the video of the teacher's bullying on the internet, all in order to make fun of her, but instead of praise from their peers, they received condemnation.
