Social media users were shocked by the appearance of a video in which a mother from Russia on Epiphany - Epiphany forcibly immerses her son in water despite the indignation of a small child.

The video shows a Russian woman carrying her crying son to the equipped fountain. She takes the towel off the boy and tries to immerse him in the water.

A video taken in Komsomolsk, Russia, shows a mother whose child, dressed only in shorts, was grabbed by her hands and several people watching the reaction of the small child, on a platform above the icy water. The child is forcibly "thrown" into the water at minus 26 degrees, which screams in the ice hole.

A man and a woman, standing by the platform, hold the child in their arms and immerse him three times in the water, while the unfortunate child screams and tries to stay above the water. During his resistance, the child kicks and holds his feet on the fence and stairs. The mother of the crying child is standing nearby all the time.

On the occasion of this year's Epiphany, Russian priests agreed with the authorities that immersion in cold water is not recommended due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation, because the church rules and records do not mention obligatory "bathing" for believers, but it is only a matter of personal choice.

As a result, social media users strongly condemned the mother's move.
