On the Uros Ashkovic he needed 1015 push-ups to officially break the Guinness World Record in the "weight push-ups" category.

Uros from Obrenovac, Serbia, managed to break the record previously set by a Canadian, with 70 more push-ups, and he told his experience for the Serbian television "Prva".

"I have been training for 13 years and I do body exercises such as push-ups, pull-ups, sit-ups and various variations of these exercises. Nothing was too much of a problem for me, except for the adaptations of the weighted backpack I was wearing. So, I didn't do classic push-ups, but push-ups with plus 18 kilograms packed in a backpack. I had the task of getting my body used to that extra load. It was only a matter of time before I broke the already set record," explains the new Guinness record holder.

"They are very strict, they sent me a three-page manual with the rules that I have to follow, but also the rules for recording the video, everything around me had to be perfectly placed, so that they could recognize the video," said Uros.

"Of course it's not very comfortable. When I come up from the push-up, my arms should be fully extended, and when I go down, my forearms and upper arms must be at a 90-degree angle. "I did 1.015 push-ups in 60 minutes, breaking the previous record of a Canadian, who did 949 push-ups," explained the new record holder.
