VIDEO: Serbia safe against Lithuania, the Dutch "tulips" wilted in 20 minutes in Paris

Today, in its first match of the qualifiers for the 2024 European Championship, the Serbian national team triumphed over Lithuania 2:0 at the Rajko Mitic Stadium in Belgrade within Group G.

The scorer of the first goal for the Serbs was Tadic in the 16th minute, and the same player assisted Vlahovic in the 53rd minute. Previously, in the same group, the selection of Montenegro celebrated with 0:1 at the visit of Bulgaria.

In group "B" France in Paris was convincing with 3:0 against the Netherlands. All dilemmas surrounding the winner were resolved in the first half, Griezmann started the scoring streak in the second minute, Upamecano added in the eighth, and Mbappe made it 3:0 in the 21st minute. PSG star Mbappe scored another goal in the 88th minute.

Lukaku led Belgium away with a hat-trick against Sweden (0:3), with goals in the 35th, 49th and 83rd minute.

The Faroe Islands national team, against whom Macedonia will play a friendly match on Monday in Skopje, drew with Moldova (1:1) in Chisinau. The lead for the Faroe Islands was brought by Mikkelsen after Olsen's assist in the 27th minute, and the Moldovans got a point through Nicolaescu in the 86th minute from a penalty.
