The second episode of the second season of the Free Press podcast airs tonight. Today we are talking about journalism, and our guest on the show is the journalist of "Sloboden Pechat", Miroslava Simonovska.

Simonovska recently received the "Jashar Erebara" award from the Association of Journalists of Macedonia (ZNM) for investigative journalism, for the stories "In 2017, the Oncology Clinic threw the cytostatic monitoring system into the basement, which makes it impossible to steal doses" and "Poor Oncology testimony in the courtroom: It wasn't because of the money I was giving the pharmacist, but because I wasn't being given therapy."

We talked with Simonovska about the current state of journalism, her beginnings in the profession, the threats and pressures she faced while researching her stories and many other topics.
