VIDEO: "Suns" stronger than Denver and Jokic, Phoenix came to the second victory
The Phoenix Suns took a 2-0 lead in the Western Conference semifinals against the Denver Nuggets after celebrating 123-98 in the second leg. The new MVP in the NBA league, Nikola Jokic was the most efficient in the match with 24 points and 13 rebounds.
Jokic's good play, however, did not prevent another convincing defeat of his Denver who is now in an unenviable position before the series moves to Colorado.
Led by Chris Paul who had 17 points and 15 assists, the "suns" controlled the result from the first minute. By halftime, Phoenix had a double-digit advantage (52:42) to solve all dilemmas in the third quarter, making an advantage of 22 points (86:64). Besides Paul, Devin Booker with 18 points and 10 rebounds, Mikal Bridges with 16 points and Deandre Eaton with 15 points and 10 rebounds also showed a good game. In the Denver team, apart from Jokic, the only ones who gave double-digit points also gave Paul Milsap and Michael Porter 11 points each and Will Burton 10 points.
