Janik Syner he beat him with a dominating game in the final Taylor Fritz with 3:0 in sets (6:3, 6:4, 7:5) in two hours and 17 minutes and so he won his second Grand Slam trophy of the season.

Sinner arrived at the US Open after the doping scandal, but on the field he showed that it did not leave a mark on his psyche. Throughout the tournament, he looked as focused as possible and did not allow himself to be surprised.

In the final, Sinner made a break at the start, but Fritz quickly returned and took the Italian's serve for 2:2. However, in the continuation of the set, Siner was much better and led with 1:0.

In the second set we did not see a break until the last game when Siner won the crucial set for a 2:0 lead.

Fritz doesn't give up and in the seventh game he broke for 4:3, then served 5:4 to win the first set in the match. Siner then won three games in a row and put an end to the match.
