VIDEO | Schwarzenegger condemned the attack by Hamas: He met with the survivors and their families
The Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger spoke out against what he called barbaric and unprovoked Hamas attack on Israel and met with survivors and their families.
The former governor of California condemned the massacre of innocent civilians on October 7, saying he had never seen anything like it and offered his support for Israel, reports TMZ.
Schwarzenegger met with family members of Israeli hostages still being held in Gaza and presented them with bronze eagle statues. After the meeting, Schwarzenegger said that he wants to spread peace, because it is more powerful than hatred and anger.
Ella Shani, 14, is among the survivors who traveled from Israel to Santa Monica to meet Arnold Schwarzenegger.
She recounted how her father was killed by Hamas members in Kibbutz Bera on October 7 and how her 16-year-old cousin Amit Shani was kidnapped. The meeting was organized by the Museum of Tolerance in Jerusalem, with which Arnold Schwarzenegger has been a partner for years.
