VIDEO | Shilegov addressed the people of Skopje: Skopje is becoming a European metropolis where people are important
The candidate for mayor of Skopje Petre Shilegov addressed the citizens of Skopje with a video message, calling on them to go to the polls on Sunday, October 17. In his address, he emphasized some of his completed and future projects.
- The traffic solutions we are implementing will mean a city without congestion, and Skopje will get the largest pedestrian zone of all European cities. With this, Skopje is completely changing and becoming a European metropolis with a lot of public space, greenery and top infrastructure, says Shilegov in his address.
On Sunday, as he points out, we are not only electing a mayor, but whether Skopje remains to move in the right direction.
- For me, politics is just a means to create conditions for a dignified life for every person. It is a policy that builds bridges and unites, a policy that leads Skopje to the community of the most developed cities in Europe. My policy has a clear goal - modern infrastructure, top public transport and a clean and healthy environment. I love Skopje where young people are happy to create their families, a Skopje where everyone is welcome, a green Skopje with smiling, satisfied and happy people. Skopje, a strong city where people are important, says Shilegov.
Bridges, boulevards and tunnels, he said, are the realization of his vision of a connected city.
- They connect people and make Skopje unique and strong. This is Skopje that I want to continue building with all of you. I ask for your support so that we never stop together. And I will continue to be a mayor to whom the people and Skopje always come first, concluded Shilegov.
