VIDEO: Six rockets shake Odessa, thick black smoke rises over the city
Six Russian missiles hit the Ukrainian port city of Odessa today, a spokeswoman for Ukraine's southern military command said.
In a video posted on Twitter by the Swedish diplomat Carl Bildt, thick clouds of black smoke rise above the city.
Continued 🇷🇺 bombing of Odessa 🇺🇦 today. Their strategic intention here is very clear. Sooner or later they intend to capture the city and incorporate it in their occupation zone. pic.twitter.com/Eo5awXX3vk

Bildt tweeted that it was clear what Russia's strategy was - to continue bombing the city, which at some point would be conquered and included in the Russian occupation zone in Ukraine.
The spokeswoman Natalia Humenyuk said four rockets hit a furniture factory in a residential area, while the other two damaged the runway. Victim information is verified.
A spokesman for the Odessa regional administration, Sergei Bratchuk, previously said that four missiles hit the Odessa region, but that there were no casualties. Reuters reported that those reports could not be confirmed at this time.
