The Macedonian handball vice-champion, E. Pelister missed a great chance to continue the series of victories in the European League and tonight played only a draw against Sporting.

The "Green and Whites" played well on the road in Lisbon, but although they had a positive throughout the matches, in the very finish they rushed in the key attack and allowed Sporting to win a point from this match (27:27).

- It was very important not to lose. I am satisfied and I want to thank the handball players. They fought for every ball and for every position. We played a very important match for both teams. We have been undefeated for four matches already and that means a lot to us for our mental strength. The group is very even and we should be ready for dramatic matches until the end. We need to be brave and intelligent. Our goal is to beat among the four best teams in the group and to continue playing elimination matches - said the coach of E. Pelister, Zeljko Babic after the match in Portugal.

The European Handball Federation (EHF) announced the best five defenses on the circuit, and in the latest selection is the goalkeeper of the Bitola team, Marton Sekelji.
