- The defect has been repaired, in the past few days we managed to heat the water to the necessary level for the use of recreational and professional swimmers, so that everything is back to normal. The breakdown occurred at a bad time when the pool in Kumanovo and the large basin of the Olympic pool were closed, so most of the criticism was directed at us, although we support and serve many clubs. "I must emphasize that this is a normal technical defect, and many people have used it for self-promotion," he said at a morning briefing. the director of SC "Boris Trajkovski", Aleksandar Petrovski.
Regarding the accusations why there was so much waiting for the spare part, he says that it is impossible to have spare parts for every part of the complex.
- We can not store 15.000 spare parts for the whole complex. The sports center has been operating for thirteen years, and with that it is depreciated, the parts are consumables and it is normal that they will spoil someday. With the repair of the defect and today's opening of the pool, everyone will finally be convinced that it was not a deliberate closure of the pool due to saving electricity, as it was said in public, but due to a real defect. With the closure of a swimming pool in Skopje, the problem of lack of swimming pools came to the fore. As a sports worker, I would like to have ten more swimming pools in Skopje. I think that we should all strive for the construction of swimming pools, not only in Skopje but also in other cities, says Petrovski.
The pool is still running at reduced capacity as a result of the protocols still in force. Swimming clubs have an advantage in getting appointments, and the national team members and people with special needs use the pool for free.

- My term ends next week and I will not ask for an extension. I hope that the one who will come in my place will love the sports center and will take care of it, like I did in the past 4 and a half years, said Petrovski.
