The famous tennis journalist, Carol Bouchard, demanded a strict sanction for Srdjan Djokovic, Novak Djokovic's father, of whom photos appeared in Melbourne in the company of fans with symbols of Russia and Putin.

After the match of the Serbian tennis player against the Russian Andrej Rublyov, a group of fans with Russian flags and the letter "Z" worn by Russian soldiers in Ukraine, took photos with Srdjan Djokovic.

The photos next to the fan with the image of Vladimir Putin on the flag, while the fan had the letter "Z" on the shirt, caused a lot of criticism.

Australian Tennis Association warned fans and people from the players' box that such scenes can disrupt and complicate the organization of the tournament "Australian Open".

- Sorry, but they really shouldn't have warned Srdjan Djokovic after this. They should take away his accreditation, this is outrageous - Bouchard wrote on Twitter.

The famous one announced himself Ukrainian tennis player Alexander Dolgopolov who says that such scenes are absolutely disgusting.

- They said that politics should be kept out of sports. These people absolutely should not be at tennis tournaments, including Novak Djokovic's father, if they openly support a genocidal regime - announced Dolgopolov.
