The Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama says that the deployment of Serbian army units on the administrative border with Kosovo is a matter of internal politics and political representation of Belgrade.
In Bratislava, at a panel dedicated to Balkan issues, he added that the Serbian army "has zero power on the border with Kosovo."
"It's like the Mexican army showing up at the American border." What can they do? Nothing!” said Rama, stating that he “respects Mexico a lot”.
Rama added that much of what is happening in the north of Kosovo is related to internal politics. He said that the only solution to the situation in Kosovo is the implementation of the agreement on the normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina.
