The actress and singer Selena Gomez is one of the most followed celebrities on social media, and every post of hers is scrutinized.

Recently, she posted a video on the Tik-Tok platform where she showed off her daily makeup and skin care routine. In addition to the numerous compliments on her natural look, her fans noticed that her hands were shaking while applying makeup on her face and worried about her health.

Gomez decided to answer questions about her "shaky hands," reminding people of her battle with systemic lupus erythematosus and that her hands shake because of the medication she takes.

“Haha, my hands are shaking from the lupus meds. And let me mention, I'm not a professional," commented the singer, adding a laughing emoticon.

@Selena GomezPSA I got most of these products free. I ain't just rolling like that everywhere. Use any serum to remove make-up before washing. It breaks it up nicely. Also use a sponge to wipe eyes to treat eyes delicately when removing make up. K I'm done pretending I know what I'm taking about.♬ Never Be Me – Miley Cyrus

As a reminder, Gomez was diagnosed with this autoimmune disease in 2014.

In 2017, she underwent a kidney transplant for the condition, with her then best friend donating her kidney Francia Raisa.

"There are no words with which I can thank my wonderful friend Francia Raisa. She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrificed herself by donating a kidney to me. I am very blessed. I love you so much sister," wrote Gomez on Instagram.
