Russian officials reported that, despite the shelling, the nuclear plant was operating normally.
Yesterday the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenski with a post on Twitter, he called on the international community to send a stronger response to what he called "Russian nuclear terror".
talked with @eucopresident Charles Michel, told about the situation on the battlefield, in particular at the Zaporizhzhia NPP. Russian nuclear terror requires a stronger response from the international community – sanctions on the Russian nuclear industry and nuclear fuel. (1/2)

UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres said the risk of nuclear confrontation had returned after a decade-long absence and called on countries with nuclear weapons to pledge not to be the first to use them.
"Any attack on a nuclear plant is 'suicide'," warned Guterres.
Russian forces seized the power plant in March, and Ukrainian employees are still working there.
