VIDEO: Protests in Havana continued, hundreds of people are without electricity for several days
Authorities restored power to several neighborhoods across Havana after mass protests continued. Residents are unhappy about the frequent blackouts in the capital of Cuba, as a result of Hurricane Ian.
Protests across Cuba numbered several hundred people chanting "turn on the lights" as well as chanting slogans disparaging President Miguel Díaz-Canel.

At one point, protesters began chanting for freedom, or "libertad" in Spanish, as they marched through the dark, densely populated area that has been without power since Hurricane Ian hit the island on Tuesday.
The majority of the city's residents, who had electricity restored during the day, did not protest on Friday.
