The match between Croydon and Cockfosters in the ninth English league attracted the attention of the media because of the goal scored by the hosts.

Namely, the 36-year-old football player Ryan Hall from the ranks of Croydon hit the opponent's net after only 2.31 seconds of play. Immediately after the first referee's whistle, he shot from the center and managed to score.

The club have also submitted a request to the Guinness Book of World Records to register the former Leeds and Luton player's goal as the fastest in history and their request is expected to be accepted. At this moment, the name of Ricardo Olivera from Uruguay, who scored a goal in 2.8 seconds in 1996, is on the first place in the Guinness Book of Records.
