Within the framework of the global fight against terrorism, the Ministry of the Interior, i.e. BJB - Sector for the fight against terrorism, violent extremism and radicalism, in a coordinated action with the French National Security Agency, which acted on an international warrant issued by our country, realized a case, in which the freedom Three Macedonian citizens, who joined the armed formations of the terrorist organization Islamic State ISIS during 2014 on the territory of Syria and actively participated in the military operations as fighters, have been deprived of their lives.

- In the past period, the persons O.S. (28), R.S. (33) and M.G. (26), were the subject of interest of the security services and in the international cooperation of the Ministry of the Interior and the National Security Agency with other partner security services, the activities resulted in a simultaneous synchronized police action carried out on the territory of the Republic of North Macedonia and France, during which two persons were deprived of their liberty in our country and one person in France, and all of them are citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia, the Ministry of the Interior informs.

Acting on search warrants issued by a judge for preliminary proceedings, this morning, the Ministry of the Interior conducted searches at two locations in Skopje near O.S. and R. S., where firearms, ammunition, mobile phones and other electronic devices that may contain additional evidence of the committed crime were found and confiscated.
