Penov pointed out that very little is needed to get into a situation where the required majority for the election of the Government is not reached and thus, according to him, to endanger the entire electoral process.
"They can't not vote for the government, imagine if someone else doesn't vote and a technical government is not elected, the entire election process is called into question. What is that irresponsibility? I will enter the government, but I will not vote, and you citizens vote for me, I think well of you. Well, you don't think well, because if you don't vote for a technical government, there are no elections. If VMRO-DPMNE does not vote for the technical government and if three or four other deputies do not vote, we will not have a technical government and we will not have elections. It is a complete lack of thinking about the future of the country," Penov pointed out.
Penov emphasized that the LDP party, from which he also comes, will continue cooperation with the coalition partner SDSM.
"We are in a coalition with SDSM and that cooperation is long and positive, we are working on the positive direction of movement of the state and many problems in that regard have been solved. "These are difficult decisions, unpopular, but with long-term positive effects for the country, such as entry into NATO, progress towards the EU," he concluded.
