VIDEO | Neither the "Desna" party nor Palco had any money - Keshishev was his most faithful follower
Ljupco Palevski Palco, the accused for the murder of minor Vanja Gjorchevska and Panče Žezhovski from Veles, won his sympathizers and members through his public appearances and the podcasts he often hosted. The "Desna" party had no money and was financed by Macedonian solidarity, but Palco's followers had great confidence in their leader.
This could be concluded from the testimonies of the members and sympathizers of the party led by Palcho, who testified in the Criminal Court. All of the witnesses knew Palco and all of them communicated with him, and of the other defendants, they knew Vlatko Keshishev and Velibor Manev the best, while Bore Videvski was rarely seen in the party. The girl's father, Aleksandar Gjorchevsky, who is also accused, only one of the witnesses said that he heard in a broadcast that he together with Vanja's mother, Zorica Gjorchevsky, attended the party's headquarters when it was on "Advocate Street", but he does not remember that he had seen them.
Palcho always carried his gun within reach for his own safety, a member of Desna testified
The headquarters of the party moved from "Advocate Street" to Kisela Voda, and shortly before the murders, the party moved again and is now located opposite Narodna Banka. All the witnesses had seen Palcho's gun, which was always within reach, and which was confiscated because he had a permit only for possession, not for carrying. He wore it for his own safety after he was attacked with metal bars outside his home.
Palcho recorded his podcasts at the headquarters in Kisela voda and practically slept there, on the floor in a sleeping bag. Except for the gun, all the witnesses in the headquarters had seen the radio stations that the police inspector mentioned in the testimony and revealed that Keshishev told them that at the scene of Vanya's murder, they communicated through radio stations.
His most faithful follower was Keshishev who was always at the party headquarters, where he slept, made coffee, made lunch and walked Palcho's dog.
- Their relationship was strange to me, it was submissive. When he spoke to them in a high tone, they did not respond, did not enter into an argument, one of the witnesses, Gjorgi Jolev, who was the president of the Central Committee of the party.
Answering a question from judge Ivica Stefanovski, to describe that relationship, Jolev said that it seemed to him like appeasement towards Palevski and that he had never seen them quarrel.
Jolev actually gave the party the vehicle "Renault Kangu" that participated in the abduction of the girl because he did not need it and it was only important for him to have someone maintain the vehicle. He lived in Iceland, but he also returned to Macedonia, so he paid rent, electricity, internet bills for the party...
Vasko Stojkov, the lawyer who in turn drove Palevski to Serbia and was the party's lawyer, testified that he took Palco to Belgrade on his own initiative, who claimed that he wanted to go there to operate on his spine. Palevski and Keshishev asked him in the morning, three days after the murder, and asked him if he had a notary public to get a green card and go to Belgrade in a vehicle. Stojkov went to the party, but Palcho was not there, but with an unknown person in an apartment near PIOM.
- Nothing was strange to me then, and from this aspect it is strange to me that Ljupco was in that apartment, said Stojkov, who explained that he and Palco had known each other since 2017, and they were introduced by Jovica Strashevski, who is now Palco's lawyer.
The lawyer revealed that Palevski had financial problems and in three years he had personally loaned him 20 thousand euros.
- I lent him money, with which he saved an apartment from foreclosure. He sold the apartment in the Airport, returned my money - said Stojkov.
He took Palevski to Belgrade, the lawyer gave him 1500 euros, and he himself took out another 1500 euros sent by a friend. After he returned from Belgrade, Palevski told him that he would not go for an examination but would spend the night in Nis and from there he would go to Turkey.
After the police detained Keshishev and two other people, Stojkov was interrogated at the Prolet police station. During the interrogation, Palevski called and told the investigators that he was in Turkey and explained that on the day of the murder, he was visiting his mother in the Debar neighborhood. He told Palevski that it was mentioned that he was the perpetrator of Vanya's murder and that if he was not guilty he should come back and tell. Even then, Palevski claimed that he was being set up.
Apart from the witnesses, followers of the "Desna" party, the aunt of the murdered Vanja also testified. She did not know the defendants, but she said about Vanya's father that he asked her to send a message to Elon Musk to look for the girl via satellite. She was surprised at his request, but then everyone panicked.
Vanya's father asked his mother's cousin to send a message to Elon Musk to find Vanya via satellite
For the murder of the girl, in addition to Palcho, who is accused of killing the girl, and the man from Veles for "selfishness", Velibor Manev, Vlatko Keshishev, Bore Videvski and the girl's father are accused of helping.
