Netflix it had its successes and failures this year too when it comes to matters movies and series. From the famous series "One Piece" (One Piece), which delighted fans and critics, to the third season of "The Witcher" (The Witcher), which met with mostly bad reviews. Facebook group members "Netflix Bangers" (Netflix Bangers) recently they chose the best movies of the year on Netflix, and now they have turned to series as well, it says "Unilad" (Unilad).
So, without further ado and in no particular order, Here are the top ten shows on Netflix this year by viewers.
"All the Light We Cannot See" (All the Light We Cannot See)
The war miniseries All the Light We Cannot See, Netflix's adaptation of the novel of the same name written by Anthony Doerr, came to Netflix in early November, but it has already won the hearts of viewers.
The series follows two teenagers growing up during the Second World War – the blind Frenchwoman Marie-Laure and the young German Werner Pfennig, who is forced to fight for the German army.
"Who is Erin Carter" (Who is Erin Carter)
The British thriller series "Who is Erin Carter", starring Evin Ahmad, topped the ratings in as many as 82 countries.
The series follows British teacher Erin Carter, who lives in Barcelona with her husband and daughter. After she is forced to defend herself during a supermarket robbery, her mysterious past begins to emerge and threaten the lives of her family.
"Criminal Code" (Criminal Code)
Brazilian crime series Penal Code, starring Maeve Jinkings, Romulo Braga and Tomás Aquino, is still in the top 10 most watched series on Netflix.
The story follows a group of detectives from Paraguay who try to put an end to a criminal organization that crosses the borders of their country.
"One Piece" (One Piece)
Netflix's adaptation of "One Piece," written by Eiichiro Oda, broke viewership records set by "Stranger Things" and "Wednesday."
The series follows the young pirate Luffy, who tries to find the treasure called One Piece and thus become the king of all pirates. Along the way, he meets friends who join him on the adventure.
"Dear Child" (Dear Child)
The German psychological thriller Dear Child, which won over Netflix users worldwide, is based on the bestseller of the same name by the writer Romi Hausmann.
The main focus of the series is Lena and her two children, who live in their captor's secluded cabin. After Lena and the mysterious girl manage to escape from captivity, the police reopen the investigation into the case of the kidnapping of a 13-year-old.
"A Nearly Normal Family" (A Nearly Normal Family)
The Swedish series "A Nearly Normal Family" is currently in third place on the list of the most watched series on Netflix.
This crime series follows the events leading up to and after the murder of a 32-year-old man. The whole case involves a seemingly perfect family, whose lives change after the murder.
"The Lincoln Lawyer" (The Lincoln Lawyer)
The second season of one of the most famous Netflix series, starring Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Neve Campbell and Becky Newton, was also on the list.
Lawyer Lincoln is a legal series based on the novels by Michael Connelly, featuring lawyer and ex-addict Mickey Haller, who prefers to work in his car rather than an office.
Although the third season of "Lupin" has met with some criticism, it continues to delight viewers, and the performance of the main actor Omar Szh is particularly impressive.
In the third season, the famous thief Assan Diop tries to avenge the death of his Babakar, who is behind a respectable and rich family.
"The Fall of the House of Usher" (The Fall of the House of Usher)
Director Mike Flanagan returned to Netflix in October with the acclaimed series The Fall of the House of Usher, inspired by the works of Edgar Allan Poe.
Flanagan's series follows the living members of the wealthy Asher family, owners of a corrupt pharmaceutical company who are haunted by the ghosts of the past.
"The Railway Men" (The Railway Men)
Many Netflix users have praised the Indian historical series The Railway Men, starring Rs. Mahavan, Kay Kay Menon and Diviendu in lead roles.
The series depicts the worst industrial accident in history, which occurred in 1984 in Bhopal, when a large amount of chemicals leaked, causing the death of thousands of people in the surrounding towns. The series follows the railway workers who saved many lives after a tragic accident.
