Official: „Squid GamesWill return with a second season. Netflix confirmed the news on Sunday, offering details of what will follow in the hit Korean dystopian drama.

"Squid Game" became the most watched series on the streaming platform when it was released in September. She tells the story of moneyless contestants, who play childhood games for a chance to win a huge amount of money that will change their lives.

On Sunday, the writer and director Hwang Dong-hyuk shared some details about the second season of the series.

Seong Gi-han and the man in a black mask known as Front Man will return, he said, and "the man in the recruiting suit", referring to the mysterious character played by the actor. Gong Yo.

Netflix did not say when the new season would be announced, but Hwang had previously estimated that it could arrive in 2023 or 2024.
