VIDEO: New footage shows how the building used as a discotheque burned

New footage from the terrible fire that engulfed the improvised disco "Pulse" located in a former carpet warehouse in Kocani last night,
was published by Radio Kocani, and it shows the building burning and people trying to save themselves, while the first fire truck arrives at the scene.

According to initial and unofficial information, the fire started when pyrotechnics, sprinklers, were lit near the stage during the performance of the group DNA. At one point, the ceiling, which was made of highly flammable material, caught fire. The fire destroyed the building in just a few minutes, and many of the people inside did not manage to escape. According to the latest information, 59 people died in the catastrophic fire and 155 were injured. 18 of the injured are in critical condition, health authorities said.

The Macedonian government will hold an emergency session at 16 p.m. to declare seven days of mourning in the country due to the tragedy, which is the largest of its kind since the country's independence.
