VIDEO: Eco-activists caused a new incident, this time in Vienna

Photo Twitter

Climate change activists threw paint at a Gustav Klimt painting at a Vienna museum in protest on a day when entry was free thanks to the sponsorship of an oil company. Reuters.

Activist group Last Generation posted images online of a supporter pouring what it called a "black, greasy liquid" on the display outside Klimt's Death and Life at the Leopold Museum, before being intercepted by a member of staff as another activist apparently taped his hand to the screen.

This is the latest episode in a series of such actions by climate change activists who want to shake public opinion by throwing liquid on famous works of art in museums or the equipment that protects those works.
