A strong storm hit Delchevo, the Center for Crisis Management informed this afternoon. The storm, with strong gusts of wind, followed by rain and hail, began around 16:30 p.m.
According to the initial information, significant material damage was caused - a dozen buildings were flooded - office buildings, houses, courtyards and basements, and the town the size of a hazelnut devastated part of the young fruit trees and agricultural and horticultural crops in Delčevo and the surrounding area.
The CMC says that according to the forecasts, the rain will stop in the next few hours, and their teams are ready to go out to the field and help in repairing the consequences.
