A 17-meter Christmas tree that was decorated a few days ago and placed in front of the headquarters of the American television network "Fox News" in New York, completely burned last night, and the police arrested a man who is suspected of setting it on fire. writes The New York Times.

"This is Fox Square in front of Fox News headquarters," Shannon Brim told viewers shortly before midnight local time.

"It looks like our giant Christmas tree just a few minutes ago was completely engulfed in flames," she said.

New York police say a man has been arrested on suspicion of causing the blaze. Some of the media published unconfirmed information that he was a homeless man.
