VIDEO: "42 Days of Darkness" series arrives on Netflix, inspired by a real event

The crime series 42 Days of Darkness (42 days of darkness) arrives at Netflix on May 11, and her story is inspired by a real event. The series tells the story of a woman who disappears, and her sister begins the search for her.

"The woman is frantically searching for her missing sister in a Chilean city despite media noise and a police investigation. "Inspired by a real case," the series' description reads.

Veronica Montes disappears from his home without a trace. Her sister Cecilia and the lawyer Victor Pizarro set off in search of her. They face the negligence of the institutions, the prejudices of the society and the harassment of the media and do everything for the truth to come to light.

Because of these problems, Cecilia expresses distrust in the system and leads herself to despair in which she tries to understand what really happened and who is behind it all.

The location of the recording is in Chile, and the language of the series is Spanish. The series is based on a journalistic story in which the journalist Rodrigo Fluxa tries to reconstruct the case. In his book, he explores a series of kidnappings of women that have taken place in Latin America.

The directors are behind this series Claudia Huaikimila и Gaspar Antilles, and the main characters are Nestor Cantiliana, Amparo Noguera и Julia Lubert.
