The fight for this year's MVP title in NBA run between downtown Denver, Nikola Jokic and Philadelphia's first team, Joel Embid, but after the new duel between these two clubs, the Serbian showed why he is one of the best in the strongest basketball league in the world.

The Nuggets won 116:111, and the player from Sombor achieved a new "triple-double" performance of 25 points, 17 rebounds and 12 assists, while Embiid did not appear in Denver this time.

The official explanation is that Embiid has a calf injury, but after he last played against Jokic on his court in 2019, fans in the United States have already begun to suspect that he is deliberately avoiding the duels in Colorado.

And the former Mega basketball player is only the third player in NBA history who had at least 10 points, 20 rebounds and 15 assists in 10 or more regular season games. Before him, only Wilt Chamberlain and Oscar Robertson managed it.

Denver is first in the Western Conference (51-24), while Philadelphia is in third place in the Eastern Conference (49-26).
