The President of VMRO-DPMNE Hristijan Mickoski in tonight's guest appearance on TV 24, regarding the arrival of the Prime Minister of Bulgaria Kiril Petkov and the statements of the new Macedonian Deputy Prime Minister Bojan Maricic, stressed that he expects Maricic to advise Petkov on the same principle not to interfere in the internal rights of minorities in our country.

- He will certainly advise him, I expect Maricic to advise Petkov and he should not interfere in the Macedonian internal affairs to seek constitutional changes that would include the few Macedonian Bulgarians, said Mickoski.

Mickoski pointed out that a proposal had been received from official Sofia for the formation of five commissions that would discuss various topics, which are essentially copying and decomposing the Resolution adopted in the Bulgarian Parliament in only five parts.

- The essence is that the Resolution of the Bulgarian Parliament from November 2019 is divided into these five committees, of which the fifth committee on historical issues is essential and I guess that during the talks, with the first we will be close to a solution, for the second we will already agree no I see an obstacle if it is not so when it comes to scientific cooperation, for the infrastructure we will agree no one is against, for the fourth we will be close, and for the fifth we will be at the beginning, but the whole package to be part of the negotiating framework, and then The whole process of negotiating the historical facts will end, because if all this enters the negotiating framework, it is no longer a bilateral problem, then it will already become our problem with the European Union, Mickoski explained.

Mickoski says that it is strange to say at the same time that you do not dispute the determination of the Macedonian people, and on the other hand not to know that there is a Macedonian minority in Bulgaria which has 14 judgments of the European Court of Human Rights.

- It would be good for this pro-European and progressive government led by Petkov to implement at least one of those judgments of the European Court of Human Rights and to allow the people from OMO "Ilinden - Pirin" to at least register as a political party and then I will I believe that they really do not dispute our identity, no one disputes the existence of the Macedonian language, etc., says Mickoski.
