VIDEO | Menkinoski: Ruskovska is not telling the truth

We do not know if they were scared by the content of the note, so now they are trying to lie that it is not evidence in the proceedings, and as we know and as the Macedonian public saw, the note is empty and does not contain anything, said lawyer Toni Menkinoski ..

Public Prosecutor for Organized Crime Vilma Ruskovska is not telling the truth when she says that the famous note leaked by the National Security Agency (NSA) is not evidence in the procedure in which the businessman Jordan Kamchev was detained, said lawyer Toni Menkinoski at today's press conference, adding that the case of Kamchev's unlawful deprivation of liberty is already the subject of observation and consideration by several international entities of the Council of Europe, whose mandate is the protection of basic human rights.

- This is a big lie, and to be convinced of that, look at the decisions of the Court that restrict the freedom of Jordan Kamchev, where explicitly one and only evidence is the note of the ANB. We do not know if they were scared by the content of the note, so now they are trying to lie that it is not evidence in the proceedings, and as we know and as the Macedonian public saw, the note is empty and does not contain anything. It should be noted that, in accordance with the Macedonian positive law or more precisely with Article 43, paragraph 2 of the Law on ANB, it is prohibited to use the data from the ANB as evidence in criminal proceedings. We point out this illegal and illegal action of the ANB and the public prosecutor. However, neither the pre-trial judge, nor the Criminal Chamber, nor the Court of Appeals want to pay attention, and they consider this note as the only evidence in their decisions. Why was Jordan Kamchev subject to processing by the ANB? The legal powers of ANB are provided in the Law on ANB, and in accordance with its competencies set out in the same law, the Agency collects, processes, analyzes, evaluates, exchanges, stores and protects data in order to detect and prevent activities related to security laws and risks. for the national security of the state, which is espionage, terrorism and its financing, violent extremism and other activities related to security threats and risks to the national security of the state, ie acts that endanger the national security of the state - said Menkinoski.
