Melania, the wife of re-elected US President Donald Trump, said in an interview with "Fox News" that the announced documentary film about her life, which will be distributed this year on "Amazon Prime", was her idea, inspired by the reception of the recently published memoirs.
"That's how I came up with the idea of making a movie - a movie about my life," she said, adding, "My life is amazing. It is incredibly eventful. And I said to my agent, 'I already have this idea, so please go ahead and make me a deal.'"
The documentary is the latest indication of the connection between Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Donald Trump.
Otherwise, Melania said she was packing to return to the White House and had chosen the furniture to move there. She said it was easier the second time around, explaining that now she knows the rooms the family will be living in.
But when asked where she will be spending most of her time, she replied: “I'll be in the White House. When I need to be in New York, I will be in New York. When I need to be in Palm Beach. "I'll be in Palm Beach."
"My priority is to be a mother, first lady, wife," she added.
She also referred to her son Barron, who currently lives in New York where he attends college, and said she believes Barron will visit the White House.
"I always respect Baron's yes or no, what he wants to do, where he would like to be," she said.
As recently as last September, Melania said Barron had decided to live in Trump Tower, the family's Manhattan residence, to attend college. Even so, Barron has a White House room ready for him to stay in when he decides to visit family.
