VIDEO: Tirana match suspended, Albanian fans throw bottles at Polish players

The World Cup qualifier between Albania and Poland involved an incident involving home fans at a stadium in Tirana.

The match ended with a triumph of the Poles, with a minimum of 0: 1, the goal was the work of Sviderski in the 77th minute.

After that goal from the stands with bottles and other objects, the Albanian fans threw the Polish national team members who were celebrating the goal.

The Poles immediately stepped aside in order to avoid a more serious injury, and in the meantime the chief referee Turpin from France decided to stop the match.

The players went to the locker rooms, the match was interrupted for almost 30 minutes, and later it was extended.

This was a very important match for both teams, in two rounds until the end of the qualifications, in group "I" leads England with 20 points, two more than Poland, Albania is third with 15, followed by Hungary (11), Andorra (six) and San Marino without points.
