On Monday, the world's richest man Elon Musk criticized Wikipedia and its "motivated" editors for manipulating information and distorting facts. He said this during a live chat on X (formerly Twitter) with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in California.

Musk said: “There's an old saying that 'history is written by the victors', as if that's good, not if your enemies are still alive and have plenty of time to edit Wikipedia. The losers simply got a lot of time on their hands."

Upon hearing this, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu joked: "They don't necessarily present a balanced view of things. "History is written by those who can use the most editors."

This is not the first time Elon Musk has criticized Wikipedia for its lack of editorial oversight and the spread of propaganda content under the guise of facts.
