At the beginning of May, Mark Zuckerberg competed in a jiu-jitsu tournament where he performed quite well, winning two gold and one silver medals.

But according to the New York Times, the billionaire struggled quite a bit in the silver medal match.

The opponent allegedly started choking him, and Zuckerberg lost consciousness at one point. writes "New York Times". The story appears to have angered the Facebook founder, and he hired Meta's PR team, which attempted to deny the New York Times' claims in an article that has since been removed.

Zuckerberg's team claims that the millionaire did not lose consciousness and that the magazine's reporter Joe Bernstein is simply wrong, although they admit that Zuckerberg lost the game. In the meantime, a video of the disputed match, which was recorded by the wife of the winner Jeff Ibrahim, appeared.

"He pulled me down and when I got up, his legs were wrapped around me," Ibrahim said of the controversial match, adding that Zuckerberg's technique was "decent".
"I was able to get out of his guard (jiu-jitsu position), but then he kind of pulled me back, but it wasn't tight enough," he said.

The video clearly shows how Zuckerberg's opponent managed to gain a dominant position, and Ibrahim claims that he is not sure if Zuckerberg lost consciousness. But he said Zuckerberg's grip began to loosen toward the end of the fight.
