VIDEO: Lukashenko went among the migrants - enraged Poland
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko today visited the border between Poland and that country.
According to media reports, he visited the crossing with the chairman of the Border Committee, General Anatoly Lap, as well as with the governor of the region, Vladimir Karanic.
Upon arrival, Lukashenko said Minsk was ready to do anything for migrants, "even if it was bad for Poles."
There are different people here. You all have a common problem: you got into trouble. I'm sure it's temporary. "We Belarusians, including myself, will do whatever you want, even if it is bad for Poles, Latvians or anyone else," Lukashenko said.
As a reminder, tensions have been raging for weeks on the border between Poland and Belarus. Official Warsaw claims that Belarus is deliberately releasing migrants, while Belarus denies this and says it does not have the capacity to control the influx of people.
