The legendary Slovak football player Marek Hamsik who in his career was a teammate with Goran Pandec, and now together with Bardi game in Trabzonspor decided to end his representative career.

In the goalless draw with Chile, Hamšík said an emotional goodbye to the Slovakia jersey. Hamsik wore the jersey of the national team for 15 years after making his debut in 2007.

Behind him with Slovakia he played at the World Cup in South Africa in 2010 and the European Championship in 2016 with France. In those 15 years, Hamsik collected 136 matches and scored 26 goals.
