VIDEO: Kuduz had "9 out of 9" against Kiel and was not in the team on the circuit in the Champions League!
The team of Vardar 1961 suffered another defeat this season in the Champions League, this time on the visit to Germany against Kiel.
In the ranks of the Skopje "red and blacks", the most efficient was the Croatian international Ante Kuduz, who may have had his best game so far for the Macedonian champion.
Kuduz was unmistakable against the Bundesliga giant and scored nine goals from the same number of attempts.
But that was not enough to find the team on the circuit in the selection of the European Handball Federation (EHF).
EHFtv, which also selects the best five goals and defenses, announced the following seven players who showed the best performance in the ninth round of the Champions League:
Goalkeeper: Vincent Gerard (PSG)
Left wing: Emil Jakobsen (Flensburg)
Left back: Sander Sagossen (Kiel)
Midfielder: Aidenas Malashinskas (Motor)
Right back: Lucas Sandel (Aalborg)
Right wing: Aleish Gomez (Barça)
Pivot: Bence Banhidi (PIC Szeged)
