Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov in an unusual way he sent his wishes for the New Year 2022, playing a game of chess with one of the most talented children in Bulgaria.

Together with 10-year-old Danail Popzafirov, who is the vice-champion in European chess for children, played a game of chess, said the MIA correspondent from Sofia.

Petkov stressed that people like Danail give hope that Bulgaria can be much more successful. He pointed out that one of the goals of the Bulgarian Government for 2022 is to preserve Bulgarian talents, to give them the opportunity to develop and celebrate the country with their victories, calling for "joint work for a better Bulgaria".

In a conversation with the Bulgarian Prime Minister, Danail said that his dream is to be the best chess player in the world and to become a grandmaster.
