VIDEO: Kilometer-long columns on the Russian-Georgian border, Russians run away from Putin's military calls
Russians are trying to leave the country to avoid conscription for the war in Ukraine, reports BBC.
Queues formed at border crossings after President Vladimir Putin announced a partial military mobilization on Wednesday.
The Kremlin says reports of men fleeing the fighting are "exaggerated".
But at the border with Georgia, kilometers-long queues of vehicles have formed, including men trying to escape the war.

Some of those heading to the neighboring country used bicycles to bypass the lines of cars and avoid the ban on crossing on foot.
One of the men, who did not want to be named, told the BBC he had been waiting since 09:00 local time on Thursday and managed to cross late that evening.
Another man reported a 12-hour wait, citing partial mobilization as the reason he had to leave Russia to continue his studies.
