- The first thing we should emphasize is that we kept the same budget from last year. Despite all the difficult moments and crisis situations, the Ministry of Interior managed to keep the budget of 10 billion and 410 million denars, Marian Kicev, president of the Macedonian Police Union, told Utrinski briefing.

-Everyone can comment what they want, we are not satisfied with the achievements of the Macedonian police union, but still it is never too late and it is never the end. Talks with the Ministry of Interior continue, we are in daily contact with the Minister.

- For this short period, the colleagues are satisfied with these 5%, still they demand a bigger increase, but we do not stop here. This is one of the adjustments - another 5% follow. We will have to see next year with a budget rebalance or next 2023 we will get those 5%, says Kicev.

- The new budget includes funds for the payment of the bonus salary. All lawsuits were filed in that area. Colleagues who work more than 150 overtime hours during the year are entitled to a bonus salary according to the Law on Labor Relations, added Kicev.
