The Independent Chamber of Catering (NSC) initiates the issuance of a global cryptocurrency as a new opportunity to raise funds and promote the Macedonian and regional tourism and catering sector.

The NSC says that they are witnesses that the governments in the Balkan region during the pandemic no longer intend to allocate funds to compensate the damages and losses of the caterers due to the measures and restrictions in the operation.

-The new time offers new opportunities and we need to adapt. If we analyze the past period and centuries, there has always been a revolution, whether technological or ideological, which in itself brought many changes that were not initially accepted, but over time have proven to society mean good changes in improving standards and life. , said in the Morning briefing Zdravko Josifovski from the Independent Catering Chamber (NSC).

-What we are currently seeing is the problem that the catering industry is facing due to the pandemic. The fact is that neither governments nor other financial institutions intend to invest in or support the industry., that in a way the caterers are left to find a way to survive on their own, says Josifovski.

- As a Chamber, we had the task to look for everyone alternative ways, while not violating the legal regulations. We are witnesses that we had last year a huge boom in the crypto industry, not only globally but also locally. The one who has money invests in crypto. The whole point is if you earn the money to spend it somewhere, says Josifovski.
