The two young Macedonians, Timotej Andonovski and Erhan Jajovski, together with their team R8G Esport led by the famous car driver Roman Grozhan, won the first place in the virtual 24-hour Le Mans race, which in real life takes place in France.

Virtual driving is becoming more and more famous in the world, and the two Macedonian drivers were guests in the studio of "Sloboden Pechat", where they talked about their success, but also about Esports in Macedonia.

The ideal combination of the love for cars and playing video games as a hobby plunged the two Macedonians into the waters of virtual driving. They have participated in several races in recent years, but the Le Mans success is the biggest so far.

The very fact that famous drivers such as Roman Grosjean and Max Verstappen were coaches of these young drivers, indicates the rise of this esport.

The race they ran for 24 hours from their room is the same as the one in real life. There are four drivers in each car, who agree in advance when they will drive their hours. Collisions between cars and breaks that are part of real races are also reflected in virtual ones.

Andonovski and Jajovski drove a car specially designed by "Ferrari" which took them to the first place without any software problems.

As Andonovski says, virtual driving is a hobby for him, while Jajovski is one of the most famous virtual drivers in Europe. He participated in several races around the USA and Great Britain, where he received a number of awards. They have been in the waters of virtual driving since 2017, when this esport actually developed.

Esports players from Macedonia have achieved great success, but they are still not given enough attention. Macedonia is a two-time world champion in the game "Canter Strike", and there was also a participant in the club who won a world title in the game "Dota 2".

They represent the country at the world level, and through the esport they find a way to live their dream, playing video games and winning large sums of money.

Many parents often tell their children not to sit too much on computers and video games, but in these times, children can prove to them that esports and playing video games are serious careers where they can earn a large amount of money.
