VIDEO: Incident at the Shkupi - Levski match, Bulgarian fans arrested

Less than an hour before the start of the match between Shkupi and Levski Sofia, the Bulgarian fans staged a new wave of incidents, this time at the "Todor Proeski" arena, in a clash with the police, Ekipa reports.


As reported by the media, the soccer match between Shkupi and Levski was declared a high-risk match. It is a match in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League.

During the day, the police had their hands full to ensure the safety of the fans from Bulgaria who came in solid numbers. All Bulgarian cars were searched at the toll gates for entry into the capital, and their movement was restricted upon arrival. The situation escalated in the moments when Levski fans entered the stands of the "Todor Proeski" Arena. Then the fans attacked the police, who reacted with the same measure, and there were also arrests.
