The former player of Inter, Rodrigo Palacio, after finishing his football career, started basketball.
Palacio, who in his career played for Inter, Bologna, Genoa and scored over 100 goals in Serie A, recently retired as a player for Brescia and decided to start basketball and play in the fourth Italian league.

Palacio plays for Polisportiva Garengnano Basket from Milan in Serie D and plays in the playmaker position.
Palacio started his football career in his native Argentina, where he played for Bella Vista, Huracan, Banfield and Boca Juniors, and since 2009 he has been playing in Italy for Genoa, Inter Milan, Bologna and Brescia. He appeared in 27 matches for the Argentine national team and played together with Lionel Messi and scored three goals.
