VIDEO: IDF found over 800 entrances to tunnels connecting mosques, schools, hospitals
The Israeli army said today that troops have found more than 800 tunnel entrances since the start of the ground offensive in the Palestinian territory.
As stated, 500 of them have already been destroyed, by placing a large amount of explosives, or have been sealed.
The IDF says forces have discovered over 800 Hamas tunnel shafts in Gaza since the beginning of the war, adding that troops have destroyed about 500 shafts using various methods.

The Israel Defense Forces said many of the tunnels connected "Hamas strategic assets".
Along with the entrances, according to the Israeli army, hundreds of kilometers of tunnels were also destroyed.
The entrances to the tunnels were located in civilian areas, next to or in educational institutions, kindergartens, mosques and children's playgrounds, the army said in a statement.
Hamas weapons were found in some of them.
The IDF considers this to be another "evidence of the cynical use of the civilian population as human shields and cover for terrorist activities."
