Mount Etna, 3.350 meters high, is one of the most active volcanoes in the world. It erupted a month ago. No one was injured and no damage was reported to houses or buildings. The ash covered the surrounding towns.
Rivers of hot lava are still flowing down the slopes of the volcano.

Volcanic material and rocks up to 10 centimeters in size caused extensive damage to vehicles.
