The actor Hugh Grant thinks mobile phones have made movie sets "very weird" because actors "don't get drunk and fall in love with each other" anymore.

Grant made the comment during an appearance on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert", where he promoted his new film "Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves", based on the famous board game "Dungeons & Dragons".

Host Stephen Colbert asked the actor if any of his co-stars tried to get him to play the game the movie is based on, after which he admitted he didn't understand it.

“I think Chris Pine tried at times. It's been talked about, but… I don't know. Movies are very strange now. They're weird because in the past, by the end of the second week, we'd all be drinking and dining at night and falling in love with each other and all that. All that stopped because of the phones. Everyone goes home and looks at Twitter. It's so sad," said Hugh.

"Does that mean that if there are no phones on the set, there will be more affairs?" the host asked.

"Yes, I think so." You know, Tarantino banned phones on his sets and that's totally fine. And the people there, they have sexual relations with each other, that's what I was told," said Grant.
